We all know that feeling when it’s time to refresh our wardrobes. Whether it’s for a special occasion such as a holiday, event or perhaps just as a treat. I tend to head into my local town centre and hit the high street shops however, in recent years I’ve found that the quality of clothes available isn’t that great.
After a few washes, the clothes often look faded or they’ve lost their shape. Lands’ End recently allowed me to choose some clothes from their website to review. I hadn’t heard of them before so headed for their ‘About Us’ page.
Lands’ End is an American clothing and home decor retailer founded in 1963 and based in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, that specializes in casual clothing, luggage, and home furnishings.
They’ve been creating beautiful clothing and footwear for all the family ever since. With their combination of elegance and practical features, their clothes offer the ultimate in comfort in sizes petite 8 to plus 30.
Lands End say they make “Sunday comfort” part of your every day. Comfort is in softer, stronger fabrics that work for you. Comfort is a great fit for every body. While browsing their website, I found that the pricing was very reasonable.
Women’s Serious Sweats Zip Jacket
The first item I chose was this Women’s Serious Sweats Zip Jacket.
Available in four different colours: Bumbleberry Heather, Deep Sea Navy, Forest Moss and Grey Heather. I chose the Deep Sea Navy jacket which also has a gorgeous shade of purple inside.
I really cannot express enough just how excellent the quality of this jacket is. Not only is it super soft, it’s thick and it just feels so well made. It certainly feels like a luxury jacket.
In addition, this jacket is really versatile. Featuring a front zip and popper flap, there’s also an adjustable drawstring around the waist so you can cinch yourself for a more tailored look. I ordered a UK size 10-12 (the label says small).
If the zip is done up all the way, the collar-up style will keep you warm and cosy during colder months. This jacket is more sporty than a cardigan and less bulky than a coat. It also has two side pockets and is made from 75% cotton and 25% polyester..

Women’s Cotton Rib Crew Neck T-shirt
Next up is this Women’s Cotton Rib Crew Neck T-shirt. I live in jeans and t-shirts so I own a lot of t-shirts. As they’re my daily go-to, quality is important. I want them to last a long time and look as good as they did new for as long as possible.
This t-shirt doesn’t feel ‘thin’ like my usual high street t-shirts. It’s light weight, fine rib knit and again the quality is excellent. It fits well as it has a slightly shaped waist. Made from 100% breathable cotton, this t-shirt is my new go-to T-shirt.
Women’s Long Sleeve Sherpa Sweatshirt
Now this jumper is my favourite piece! It’s also my 11 year old daughters favourite jumper as she keeps pinching it off me! Priced at £17.60, it comes in the one colour as shown which is deep sea navy. It’s unbelievably soft and so warm.
The sherpa sweatshirt is lightweight, super soft and so comfortable! It’s made from 100% polyester, features long sleeves and a crew neck plus it has on-seam side pockets. I absolutely love it and will be wearing it every day when the colder months hit!
Women’s Lightweight Sleeveless Top
My final item is this lightweight sleeveless top. This light, breezy top is a halter neck style and made from TENCEL Modal fibre which is certified biodegradable in all natural environments.
With just a hint of stretch, you can relax in this beautifully shaped, lightweight top on a hot summer’s day. There is a rear buttonhole keyhole to fasten the top. It’s so comfortable and perfect for a hot day at the beach.
