If you look up “classic manicure” in the dictionary, you’ll find a shot of Jennifer Lopez. The actor has a reputation for being the queen of subtle glam moments, and her latest look for the premiere of “The Flash” in Los Angeles, California, is proof.
On June 12, the star stepped onto the red carpet wearing a gorgeous Gucci gown and slicked-back high ponytail. What took her look to the next level were her simple “strawberry-milk” nails.” Created by Tom Bachik, Lopez’s nails were filed into a tapered coffin shape and painted using a mix of Aprés Nails’s Gel Colors in the shades How You Dune ($15) and Gossamer Light ($15). They were finished off with a shiny topcoat, and the soft pink manicure was complete.
“Strawberry-milk” nails are a twist on the classic milk-bath trend, which occasionally features dried flowers embedded in the hazy white shade — hence the name.
