This one seems obvious now. As I said before, if you know what your boyfriend’s most favourite games are, check their website for merchandise. The game companies offer various items – mugs, t-shirts, mouse pads, keyboards, stickers, controllers, hats, caps, backpacks and much more. Almost every successful game has its own merchandise. What if his favourite games are smaller indie games that weren’t that much successful? Check their website anyway. It is worth a try. This might surprise you.

If you don’t know what his favourite games are or you simply don’t want to raise suspicion, check e-shops that offer general gaming-themed items. Maybe he’s frustrated by getting older. Get him a t-shirt that says:”I don’t get older. I level up!” Or maybe he is about to face an important challenge in his life. Get him a Mana Potion so he doesn’t have to worry about exhausting himself from doing his best magic! There are plenty of opportunities where a gaming-themed gift is a perfect fit. If you struggle understanding the terms and concepts, ask some gamer friend or simply google it. They’ll help you to pick the best-suited gift for the occasion.
Game to play together
Every gamers dream is to play with his partner. Luckily for you, there are plenty of games for partners these days. You don’t need to be an experienced gamer to understand them and play them. One of the most popular partner games are Overcooked and Overcooked 2. You play as cute chefs who need to cook the right meals in the right order and deliver them to the most impatient customer. Oh! And don’t forget to wash the dishes. We always do.
